We have had a wonderful journey with Melva. Our 3-year-old son has made huge progress in a very short space of time; he has developed confidence with his speaking and his way of communicating with others. Thank you for your friendly expert advice Melva. SLT has made a world of difference for our Son in both his speech and his social confidence. My husband and I had tears in our eyes when he narrated his school Christmas play last year. Two years previously we would not have believed that he could come so far!!

I found Melva to be very professional, helpful and thoughtful in helping my son with his stutter. She was very friendly, and he was always at ease. Melva was always prepared and made sessions fun. I would recommend Melva if you are looking for a speech therapist for your child.

Our daughter had struggled with a lateral lisp for years when we took her to see Melva at age 11. It was amazing to me b that within one term her lisp was gone and she is still speaking so clearly and beautifully almost a year on!! Melva was relatable, considerate and really flexible. Our daughter enjoyed going to see her and the homework was not arduous. Highly, highly recommend!!

We have found Melva to be amazing with our daughter. She is very friendly and really gets in tune with who she is working with. We loved that Melva was happy to work with us and her school providing appropriate tips, resources and ideas to help encourage speech. It was really helpful to understand where our daughter was in the world of speech and how we could best support her. We have seen a big improvement in sounds and small sentences.
