Came here to try their tempura. We each got ten hana set special. For $25 you get a bit of everything, definitely enough even for a big eater. The presentation was nice, the tempura itself was not oily but felt like they could improve it as it was not the light and crunchy ones that I had from another place. The sukiyaki beef was also dryer than I like, but it all tasted good anyway. However the price, taste and amount was well worth the visit. This place is always full of people.

Hands down best Tempura in Auckland.Delicious crispy Tempura, with always a large variety of vegetables and changes with season which is nice.Always a generous amount of Tempura is provided and I'm always left leaving with my tummy full.Friendly staff members whom served me with a smile.Reasonably priced and well worth it!I highly recommend this place - the Mega Tempura bowl is highly recommended which is enough to share between two!Added: Went back again for the Mega Tempura along with plain udon and it was delicious even on return :)

It must has been so hard on them during the lockdowns and everything. Lovely people. Food always a comfort here. I wish them all the best.

This place is always a lovely place to go to. Have been coming here for several years even before when it was Genzui. Food is still amazing and tastes great. The staff are also very polite and have polite attitudes. Will come by every now and then!

Their tempura is so amazing. Big bowl of noodle as well. Freshly deep fried. I couldn’t finish this bowl of noodle at all.

Great tempura set. The size and quality are both excellent. Lovely staff and chefs. Totally worth walking through road works to Crown Plaza.

I ordered the tempura with soba noodles for $18. Very impressed with the low price for the quality and quantity of the meal. The prawn tempura just melts in your mouth and the cold soba noodles were light and chewy, which gave a nice contrast to the hot and slightly heavier tempuras.I will be back for more!!

A colleague at work highly recommended Ten-Hana tempura lunchbox. Delicious and generous, I got two big prawn tempura, a big piece of chicken tempura and vege tempura with rice. The dipping sauce is amazing, value for money especially for Auckland CBD!
