Our father passed away suddenly last Oct. Trish was excellent to deal with, arranging immediate transport of dad from the hospital to the funeral home. She then stepped in as celebrant and was extremely helpful and professional.What really let them down was the complete oversight of multiple things following. A possession went missing and we were told it somehow was accidentally put inside the coffin/kiln - HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN (no replacement or compensation offered) The death certificate had incorrect details entered, the funeral bill had incorrect details on it and also had to be amended, then the ashes weren't separated which was again specified on the paperwork the director filled out with the family. One mistake I can overlook, but it was one thing after another which in a very stressful, upsetting time is not what you need. Tbh I'm still very angry and disappointed 7mnths later

Just want to acknowledge and thank all the staff at Morrison's Funeral Home for helping my father and I host the most beautiful and flawlessly-executed service for my dearly departed mother. We especially want to thank Kaipara Solomon for ensuring that not a single detail was overlooked. His attention to detail, prompt responses, and genuine care from start to end, was exceptional! THANK YOU!!!

Such a welcoming & compassionate team !! . The funeral home especially the funeral director Jake Prime did such a wonderful job , all the advice and direction he was able to give my family and when organizing all the funeral arrangements. It took a lot go pressure off us during this crazy time. When we began discussing funeral arrangements for my grandmother, she was confident that Morrisons Funeral Home was the place for her to go . I am so glad that she pointed us in the right direction during her lifetime . Our first meeting to arrange and discuss plans was a difficult experience for my mother as we knew my grandmother had limited time left . After the meeting with Jake my mother and I felt at ease with the process and left without any need for additional questions.Thank you for you tender care you gave to my grandmother . We appreciate the extra attention to my grandmothers wishes and the personalization of her service from discussions about the clothing to the dressing of the casket and the burial you were able to handle our requests with respect and compassion and awesome job on the folding of the tapa mat around my grandmother it was done perfectly ! Which is a difficult task to do even for our own people so Jake not being of our culture he did perfectly ! . Always appreciated the contact made with myself as Jake would always text and call to keep me up to date on how arrangements were going . Also a massive thank you to Vicky as I did bring a lot of family to the viewing and she was always so kind and patent with us . Our deepest thanks to Jake and the Morrison's Funeral Home .Thank you Thank you Thank you for you compassion and kindness at such a difficult time. We felt very comforted with the services and respect you gave my family & my grandmother

Brian Stott from Morrison Funeral homes is a gem of all gems while you are organizing the burial of a loved one. Pat the Celebrant was so lovely and caring in her words. The flowers from Morrison’s Flowers I asked for were brilliant and exactly what I wanted for my mum. I am so glad I had Morrison’s to handle all the details of my mum’s burial and made this sad moment flow without causing more stress on you at this truly difficult time. We had booked an afternoon tea and cakes after the service which was really lovely and the staff were kind.

Catering got ripped off. Barley any food to feed 25 people when asked for at least 3x that.Made email complaint to be told was told that only 4 little things and which is not true.Day had service for loved one, dealing with saddest day of our life instead had to run around to find more food after service, invited guests to house to eat and spend more money $200 plus shopping at Pak N Save to feed them after being charged over $800 for hardly any food.DO NOT do catering with them. Cheaper to buy or get somewhere else to cater.Try feeding all these people with the 4 little tiny plates of food they give. Embarrassing and shameful.

We have had 3 close family members pass away and Morrisons have taken care of all 3 of our loved ones. I just wanted to say Thank you, I know you guys are just doing your jobs but to me its way more than that. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you for taking good care of my Dad, Sister and my husband Ioane, appreciate the love and professionalism you showed us. Thank you Jake and the team.

To Daniel and Jake, thanks for the compassionate and all round excellent service that you and your staff provided at this most difficult time. Your staff are a credit to the business, but more importantly to themselves. I wish you all the best for the future. Take care.

On the day my Grandfather passed away we went into Morrison's and spoke to them, they came and picked up my Grandfather and took him to their facility. The next day as agreed we went in to organize his service. Everything was discussed and paper work done. The next time we went in was for my Grandfather's service.It was just a simple service with catering provided by Morrison's. All we had to do was show up. It was a lovely service. There was no hidden expenses in the bill.Thank you Morrison's for taking care of our Grandfather and his farewell celebration.

My brothers and I are grateful for the peaceful memorial service at the Henderson branch. Also we were well looked after by Jake Prime, we remember your empathy and kindness towards us, might i add, your patience too. Wishing you and the team a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
