Having decided to buy a new bed on Labour Day, we did an online search for bed shops around Christchurch that would possibly have what we were looking for: An affordable, very firm, queen sized mattress & base. We narrowed it down to 4 shops in the Christchurch CBD and went to check them out. Although the first 3 shops were friendly and helpful it was only once experiencing Bedpost Christchurch's service and expertise that we found exactly what we were looking for. A very friendly and knowledgeable Shiv took the time to gauge exactly what we were looking for in a bed and narrowed it down to 2 options that we liked. The one we loved was a like new" display model that would usually be more than we could afford if it was new but Shiv worked out an affordable deal for us that we could not refuse. He even had it delivered for us within 2 hours of leaving the store. Thank you so much Shiv for taking the time to help us make the right decision on something that costs a lot of money and has to last for many years."

We are in Auckland and Shiv went out of his way to go around to my sons flat in CHC to measure up so that we could purchase the bed that would fit. After visiting all of the bed shops in Christchurch and discussing options with a number of different salespeople, we met Shiv.Shiv is a lovely man and is genuinely a consultative seller, which means that he is focussed on the customer he is helping, his relationship with the customer and the solution that works best for his customer. I think in today’s world where people are wary of overly pushy or transactional sales people, Shiv is a welcome relief.Out of all of the salespeople we met, Shiv was the most knowledgeable and his price and flexibility with products made him the most competitive too. Shiv went above and beyond for us and helped us get the same bed frame almost eight weeks faster than the other stores.Everyone else wanted to sell us something we didn’t like, only Shiv listened and worked with us and create a package that we wanted, which was within our budget. On top of all of this, Shiv was friendly, he introduced himself straight away, he entertained our baby while we tried out mattresses and he listened, respected and never pushed us.
