Cortado Restaurant & Bar
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Cortado yesterday evening. The service was friendly and helpful, especially with checking for my dietary intolerances. We treated the menu like a tapas menu, and ordered several small bites. They were all delicious - cooked to perfection and beautifully presented so that our meal was a feast for our eyes, as well as our taste buds. it was reasonably priced for the quality of the food.

Fresh and perfect wood fire Malborough sea food pizza. I enjoyed the food and the taste which is perfect and unique. The salmon on the top of pizza is so fresh as it looks. You need to wait for the food for a bit time (sometime longer as it is fresh make and busy) but it's really worth. The customer service is really good. And they are some outdoor seats to enjoy the harbour view and keep your pet.There is a cafe and bar itself. The price is moderate.If you love seafood pizza. Try out this restaurant on in picton

Busy place but found us a table, good service and enjoyed our meals I had the seafood paella, very tasty. normally sell pizza but oven was broken

Popped in for a drink with two other friends and took 30 mins for a beer just to arrive. When asked hey how you getting on with the drinks we were told they were extremely busy. Only 3 tables in use in the restaurant and it was not at all busy. Not the best experience when we have been coming here for years.

Nice place and food better than correct, but we had an issue at the end. We were waiting for more than half an hour for the desserts. When we went inside to ask about it, they wanted to give us a refund. We said we still wanted the dessert, they told us the people i the kitchen don't want to make it. That is weird. The situation was unconfortable, so we accepted the money, but we paid with card, and they gave it back in cash. They gave us less money than what they charged, and we lost the exchange taxes. Finally, they gave us a little bit more to solve this.All the waitress were nice and polite, I guess the problem is the people in the kitchen or the management. Owners are lucky because having good people facing the customers, but they should care about some things.

We enjoyed our dinner. Wasn't busy. Food arrived very quickly. Was delicious. Pizza was spot on. Just wasn't sure about my dessert. The creme brulee didn't look set.

Cortado Restaurant & Bar
My wife and I stopped by here twice during our honeymoon. The first night, we enjoyed a quiet evening with some delicious food and wonderful service. A few days later, we were originally going to go to a different place, but they had a live singer out there. Unfortunately, we did not catch her name. But because of her singing and the great songs she sang (and her beautiful voice) we decided to stop and had yet another wonderful evening. Though the singer is done for the season, we encourage anyone and everyone to check this place out.

Lovely vibe. Good music. Good choice of English / Kiwi food. The place is very clean and seems to be quite popular. Prices are moderately. We came here for a pot of tea in the afternoon and then hot chocolate before boarding the Ferry to Wellongton.
