Ngatea Water Gardens
Couple hours of fun for the family. The owner had quite the sense of humour and you’ll find little things all around that are amusing. The ducks are brutal though so make sure little kids don’t hold the feed bags!! Beautiful gardens.

Beautiful. Well kept and plenty of attractions inside. This place ought to be visited more . It's a mix of a park, a museum, a walk and lot more.. still trudging along enjoying it all...Also note that all signs are 'pun' intended . When looking at the signs etc you will notice a lot more out of the ordinary

Well worth a stop. These gardens are a labour of love designed and created by the owner. Loved looking at the pictures as to how the vision evolved and thoroughly enjoyed the product so far.

Really nice place to wander about. I enjoyed the personal touches through. They have a can museum near the back of the gardens - interesting to look through.Quite a few different birds around! You can buy feed to give them on the cheap - nice way to get some interesting photos.Lots of places to sit - too bad it was raining when I came. Will definitely come back when it's sunny.

It was lovely. I had always wanted to go and was so much better than I expected. My daughter had lived just out of Ngatea and never knew it existed. She's an Aussie girl now so next visit.

Sadly it was closed for renovations. Went Blueberry picking instead just up the road. Place called Blueberry Country. Lovely place, fresh yummy ice cream. Can also pick your own blueberries.

Beautiful place. And lovely little jokes and quirks around the place. Lovely tame gentle ducks and swans. Worth the drive to visit. Would recommend packing a picnic and use one of the picnic tables provided.

Really REALLY loved coming here!Well worth the money and when you go make sure you buy some bird food. Feeding the birds was one of the best parts!Cool quirky humour throughout the park full of nooks and crannys.

Awesome place to visit! Love the humor & attractions, it was soo much fun to see everything on offer & to be able to hand feed the animals was awesome! Well worth visiting.. especially for the entry fee of only $14/adult & only $1/bag for the pet food for animals!
