Well, being in soul less Richmond I was expecting something to be off or weird but I was amazed and stunned that it was awesome. Nice friendly staff, they seem a little new to it but doing great!! Even got to finish the food before the plate was taken away which is a rarity. Very impressed all in all. Food was amazing too.Just had to go get my own salt and pepper and the heat pump blows directly onto the middle tables making it breezey as for some feed back (may need a vein adjustment) but I feel like this is a minor thing considering i was waiting for a disaster.Top marks! Thanks for squeezing us in, will definitely return.Price in on point too for a bloody nice meal

First visit after hearing good things. Busy Friday nite. Glad we booked.Friendly staff and attentive to requests.Good wine menu with lots from Italy.Food menu covers all bases and the pizza list is large and very well priced.The food service was fast and efficient and the dishes we tried amazing taste and quality.Thanks for the digestive at the end of our visit.Highly recommend.

As an Italian myself I know how easy it can be to disappoint us when it comes to food, but this place really offers amazing top quality stuff. The pizzas we had were so tasty and it felt just like at home. Desserts were so good too. Super fast service even if it was a very busy night, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Totally recommend!

Great service and very nice presented place but pasta dishes are crazy expensive for the amount that you get. $32 for six pieces of ravioli is a bit much. It was great, but definitely needed more. I think the pasta was only slightly undercooked. Very rich in flavour though and delcious. Pizzas looked great. Good size and looked yum. desert was fabulous. the tiramisu was small and mostly cream though.

A mate and I visited Eat Italy for dinner recently. We are always on the lookout for restaurants with great food and service. The pizza oven has been imported from Florence and easily a piece of art all of its own. We ordered a pizza each (and shared), tried a number of wines by the glass, had great desserts, all served by happy staff, and cheerfully led by the owner, Cherif El Bakkali who shared his excellent wine and then we finished off with a glass of limoncello each.A fabulous new venue for a fun evening out!

We have just arrived home from our first meal at Eat Italy and wow it did not disappoint! The Italian atmosphere and authentic food was amazing and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Eat Italy is just what Richmond has needed. It is evident they have worked hard to get this authentic restaurant just right.Great for couples, groups and families. There is something for everyone. Desserts are lovely too! (Recommend the amazing pana cotta)

Pasta disaster. Rather disappointed in the Spaghetti Ala Carbonara for $33, granted was a takeaway but no service costs for a takeway meal that included 2 pizzas & an undercooked kids meal. Let the photo tell the story. Pizzas were tasty.

Absolutely love this place. 100% recommend this restaurant. The food was divine we had pizza, pasta and dessert and it was all so yummy!!!! Awesome service and great vibes. So happy to have a very delicious traditional Italian restaurant here in the tasman region !!
