Went there last Sunday.The place was nice but the food is bad. Ordered for an easy to prepare egg on toast with salmon. It was served cold, as if it was prepared hours ago. the toast had too much butter, I literally squeezed out the oil. smoked Salmon was cold and tastes stale. The ambiance is impressive but if you're there only for the atmosphere getting a take away and eating it by the lake would be more worth it.

Good old boys out an about again this morning. A great spot overlooking the lake. Ducks in good voice probably laughing at the duckshooters. Very generous big breakfast and bubble and squeak looked good. Service needs a little work, greeting wise, but the food made up for that. Definitely worth another visit.

Food was average (wedges, croissant - well below expectation), very pricey but good portions. Waited an hour for food from the cabinet to come out. Service was good, staff was friendly.

We stopped here before exploring the gardens for a quick breakfast. Lots of pastries and baked goods to choose from but we felt like quiche - they had about three kinds to try so we tried one of each! Coffee service is quick - I got an almond milk cappuccino with cinnamon and hubs tried a flat white. Lots of other drinks. The patio area is great and very picturesque overlooking the garden pond. Quick order at the counter service too!

Came by for a late lunch. The eggs Benny were alright, though the eggs were overcooked and the muffin at the bottom was burnt. The taste was decent.Strawberry milkshake was also decent.. lacks the strawberry taste; more of a hint of flavour.Service was good. The staff were friendly. Ducks were swimming about. All is good.

Lovely spot alongside a lake, relaxing on a sunny day. Food was enjoyable. Started our trip to the gardens with a coffee here and then came back for lunch. Interesting food choices.

I had the pleasure of having lunch today at your cafe with a group of 16 ladies. The food & service were great. When i arrived the queue was out the door. I was very impressed how quickly we were processed & food delivered to table in a timely manner. Having 2 tills going is most unusual to see today. Both of my food choices were delicious & my companions were suitably impressed as well. Well done Hamilton Gardens Cafe & staff. Top marks for a lovely dining experience
