Carson's is a treasure trove of good reading, latest relaeases quality cards and artful stationery. Great customer service. Lounge area to relax and peruse books. Adjacent connected cafe is a bonus too.

We walked in to browse the store. They have quite a lot of items inside the book store including books, magazines and games. It also looked like there was a cafe that connected internally but it was closed when we went in. There were a few chairs around as well. They had a nice range and selection of items.

When the main retail streets of Thames are quiet, but Carson's bookshop is bustling with the busy hum of people seeking holiday reading, you know there's a good reason.Reminiscent of the bookshops of old with a comfortable clutter of books and that delightful scent of print, this is a bookstore that everyone should visit.Sometimes you find a book of gold in a gem of a store.

What a genuinely great bookshop. Staffed by genuine book lovers. I have shopped there for 15 odd years and I find at least one book I must have, every time I visit. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. Superb shopping. Thanks
