George Street Motel Apartments

We stay here regularly when in Dunedin - great location, easy access to town and parking safe. Very handy when have students too.

My mother aunty uncle and other aunty stayed here whilst my grandad was in duniden hospital they got into the motel without booking and were offered a house apartment down that they were told the it was being renovated and would get it half price so they toke the room and to all of there surprise the room was far better then they expected and you could hardly tell it was under renovation the motel staff were great as they had no idea when they would be checking out the staff told them they would keep the room booked for aslong as they needed with no extra if they were to leave at 4 pm which made life alot easier Beacuse of this the motel staff made it easier for my family to spend the last few days with grandad not having to worry about where they would sleep and how they would afford so thankyou staff.

The room was really smelly and when we approached the reception, instead of understanding our concern, the receptionist and the owner of the property asked us to leave and find another place. We have travelled across the world and stayed in numerous hotels but this was by far the worst experience ever. They were so rude that we immediately got our refund and left. We would never ever recommend this motel to any one. Spend your hard earned money where people at least respect you and your business.

Apartments are clean, comfortable and warm. Well appointed with a wall mounted smart TV, full size kitchenette and a separate bedroom. I’ve stayed here all week and always come back to a neatly tidied room without feeling like the room has been stripped bare. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will 100% be back!

Needed to book a last minute 1 night stay and managed to grab 2 rooms here. It was all that we needed and close to everything. Not sure why the shower was located behind the door. That made it a bit awkward to move around but other than that, no complaints.

Staff were amazingly helpful and friendly.Happily recommend and would most definitely stay there again.Quick easy walk into town.Rooms were clean and and looked great.

Very pleasant stay! Staff are absolutely lovely - helped us carry heavy bags up and down from our room, and found something I had left behind! Rooms are clean and it is definitely a plus being able to use the lounge as an extra bedroom. Great location too, super close to the uni and the central city :)

Always exceptional, lovely spacious warm apartment style motel rooms. Great location, pet friendly (corgi), we have stayed here often. Great staff too, and the personal touch following a recent family bereavement was so much appreciated (thanks Brendon).. This is always our first port of call when visiting Dunedin..

Room was tired, bathroom was not clean and needed updating, no tissues in holder, small amount of toilet paper on the roll, only 2 pillows for 2 beds in total.Walls are thin windows are single glazed worst night sleep I've ever had to close to town with all the partying with drunk students.on your door step.
