Bit of a poor use of space. Could be amazing but this company has poor staff service and management

Amazing show experience through Auckland Live at Aotea Centre.

I'm unsure if this is the right place for my review but I couldn't find anywhere better so here it is.My friend and I attended Moulin Rouge soundtrack performance lastnight and felt robbed. At $145.00 a ticket for a sub par show. There were a couple people that carried the show on their backs and the band was great but the costumes were terrible one guy just had on a tshirt and he was front stage the whole time. I would of preferred to watch the movie. The people next to us left at half time and we were tempted to our selves if it wasn't for how much we paid. It didn't seem ready and the price charged is laughable. Lots of little but noticable mistakes. You did not capture the essence of Moulin Rouge.

Auckland Live has provided me with the fondest memories at The Civic and Aotea, all thanks to amazing events and shows, and it's safe to say they can take pride in contributing to Auckland's vibrant culture.

The buildings and spaces Auckland Live's people look after are tāonga of Tāmaki-makau-rau - places where Aucklanders and our visitors come together and make memories around live arts performance and participation.
