I am not impressed ....I phoned to book a room, and was told by the male receptionist in a grumpy voice to send an email. I have done so, 24 hours later still no response of a confirmation. Over the last 5 months I have stayed 2 nights every month.How disappointing, do you not value my custom?Two days later no response of a confirmation?3rd March 2023Slack to reply to two emails l sent to say was booked out he didn't say on the phone when I rang the first time very disappointed not putting up with the attitude on the phone

I really did enjoy staying here. I stayed with a friend and that ruined my experience. Overall it was a great place to stay. The first day of staying here - the man in charge was in a bad mood and quite rude. But as the stay lasted longer it became more enjoyable. Really liked it and if I ever needed to I would stay here again. Me and her had our own rooms and bathroom, so it made it more comfortable for us

Showers run cold half the time with very small stalls, common room way is too small for the number of beds and to make things worse the kitchen is in the same room as the common room with no proper oven. Paid extra for a non shared dorm and it was just a bunkbed, cheap electric heater and a chair. Checked out at 10:00 on the dot and usually hostel owners are ok with people hanging around the common room for a few hours after checkout but not here. By 10:05 I was being told to leave the common room when I was just trying to grab my food bag. Considering we showed up late on first day and paid for the whole day I figured they would give us leeway but none was given at all. Feels more like a poorly run hotel than a hostel. The girl at front desk was kind the dude was very unfriendly.

I was a longterm stay in this Hostel, and it was just so great! The rooms get cleaned daily, there’s free breakfast, the facilities are clean and the staff members are super nice and helpful :) This hostel is a bit more on the quiet side after my experience, but if you want to party you will surely find someone who’s keen and the location is super central as well!!

clean, central located and safe hostel. They offer free pool downstairs. Bathrooms are only accessible from the outside which is not that handy. Vibe was just sleepy all the time. Overall would recommend.

Amazing hostel !The staff there are awesome, so helpful and friendly. Will 100% recommend this place to any backpackers I come across. Will always go back here to stay if I’m in Dunedin.

Location is pretty much ideal. Rooms are comfy with nice furniture. Kitchen was huge and well stocked. Great staff too. Had a small issue with the room charge but it was dealt with immediately. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for many months while I worked in Dunedin and couldn't recommend enough. The staff Bianca and Mitz are so welcoming and really look after the guests! There's a bar downstairs with cheap drinks and good vibes too! Highly recommend :)

Shocking customer service by floor manager, they charged us extra when we turned up despite previously making an online agreement with proof of purchase receipts. We were forced to pay hiked price or go away
