I couldn’t imagine not using vetstaff in the future - although I don’t think it will be for a good while because I’m very happy in the role that Julie and Isobel found for me!! Finding a job as a veterinary nurse can be daunting, especially discussions about salary; having dedicated professionals advocate for me during a negotiation period was reassuring and I felt safe in their hands, because I knew they had my best interests in mind and wouldn’t accept less than what I deserved. Julie and Isobel caught things on my contract that I wouldn’t have noticed myself - they are looking out for you every step of the way. Even once you’re on board at your new job, support through vet staff continues on through vet nurse coaching and general support + check ins, which is especially ideal if you’ve just moved into your first management role like I did. Everyone I interacted with was lovely, helpful, and accommodating to time zone constraints for phone calls. I was a bit disappointed when I received the response call me back when you want to be a proper vet" after declining an interview for a clinical role in favour of a government position. It is unfortunate at a time when many graduates have lots of debt
