Club Physical Coast

Terrible experience! 0/10My son wanted to join the Gym, so we paid the membership fee and in two weeks they closed the place, because they've sold the business! No emails, no messages that the Gym is closing, nothing! They must have known the business would be sold and they kept accepting membership fees without even warning the new members. I sent a few emails and asked if I should cancel the membership or it will be transferred to the new business - no replies! Even more - they took out money from my account (for the weekly payment) even though they were already closed... Speechless!!!! At the end I contacted the main office and they cancelled my son's membership.

Love this Gym. I have been going to gyms for over 20 years now and love Club Physical . Great staff and club members are lovely too . Childcare is great and an added bonus because it can be included in your membership .

If l could give this gym 0 stars l would. No atmosphere and lack of classes don’t bother joining if you are wanting help or friendliness from the staff( or lack there of) they happily take your money and offer very little in return.. you are better off with a non staffed 24 hr gym

Popped in to check out this club that my friends had been encouraging me to join. Had a great workout and loved the atmosphere. Found the team very helpful and super friendly. Bonus having the kids club for some ‘me time’. Think I’ll be a member for a long while!

I was at first hesitant to share my feedback since my original concerns were brushed off. However, enough time has passed that I no longer feel intimidated by certain staff members. Sadly the toys in the childcare area were not cleaned/sanitised - my daughter got hand foot and mouth (yes quite confident she got it from the child section). Provided this information to Club Physical then got cornered by two of the staff members. Staff should have first aid and trained to deal with small children (no ratio). Superficial smiles and open arms.. unfortunately management condone this behaviour. Thankfully my husband and I joined Stanmore Bay leisure centre, way better classes AND NO discrimination and the best part is that concerns are dealt with professionally. If you have smaller children, be careful taking them to Club Physical Coast - make sure to ask if the toys are cleaned DAILY and babies kept away from food which is dropped everywhere (I MEAN EVERYWHERE). Otherwise equipment is new which is a bonus.Sue, Tabitha, Caroline (Yoga) and Renee were amazing - loved the yoga, boxing, bare but unfortunately my experience has left me not even feeling comfortable to walk past the gym doors - occasionally ill pop in to say hi to Sue or Tabitha if I see them.*edit - I have been called crazy and my review criticised by ‘promoters’ of the gym. Please note as I mentioned before, this is my experience please respect that. Unfortunately, something the owners do not understand how to do. Still no apology but rather rude insulting comments.

Best gym on Hibiscus Coast.Awesome staff, good gym and a sauna

Amazing staff..you are greeted when you arrive and you get a wave or a shout out when you leave. Gym is clean with all the equipment you need. Spacious workout area which most gyms lack.

I enjoyed the gym for the brief time my Partner and I were member's before my membership was terminated due to asking the gym on 2 occasions to calibrate the assault bike as to which you have to pay to use.If you do cross-fit or use assault bikes or skill mills be prepared to pay for them extra and they aren't calibrated to spec so you just have to make it up as you go along don't try a workout to do Calories. it is a waste of time. Instead of trying to fix it they just email you.I was accused of making comments about getting better value at the local gym down the road. This was apparently made to the staff on 2 occasions and is not true.The gym is well equipped and it has a good atmosphere although the customer service and how to deal with complaints or perceived complaints is terrible and very small gym minded and arrogantI wouldn't recommend this gym purely for that basis.The management team have zero clue on how to deal with customers and perceived complaints . If you ask for equipment to be fixed or calibrated to work as is should you will just get an email to say your membership is cancelled . best of luck in your choice of gym I would try one of other 7 or so gyms in the area

They have recently become Cjtyfitness. They have got new equipments (as it's a new branch), maintaining similar standards as most other branches. I've been a Cityfitness member since 2018, but giving 4 stars to this branch coz they need to make some basic equipments available, such as belts (for free squats), straps and varieties of pulley handles (for flys etc).Still early days, so hope to see these improvements soon !!

Club Physical Coast made me feel so at home and welcomed as soon as I inquired and asked about memberships. I have been coming here for years, enjoying all the facilities and the classes. It's a perfect gym for parents with young children because they have a kids club, so we can work out in peace and enjoy our me time".The staff and members are very friendly and approachable. I have never felt intimidated or uncomfortable asking for help using machines or asking how a work out should be done. Everyone feels like family there!They have great classes such as X45
