Milk and honey is a nice Cafe with lovely modern presentation and quality meals. The food in this Cafe is a bit over normal pricing, but my meal was very good and got there decently fast. I came here with family however, and someone thought that their meal wasn't that good so I'm rating this 4 stars. Also if you and your business (if you work with one) want to catch up and have a breakfast - meeting, then this place is good for you, because it has a closed room just for that called the beehive. Definitely embracing the name milk and honey" because that's also the scent of the soap I the bathrooms. Overall this is a nice Cafe and I wd recommend it to anyone nearby"

It was okay, the food is expensive and the quantity was small. Two pancakes for $26 and one small piece of bread for the herbed eggs (also $26).Tasted great though

We went on Saturday 1st April 2023 their were 7 of us. The food was amazing, but it took 20 mins between the 1st meal on our table number to come out to the last meal coming out. and we never got the coffee that was meant to come with the meal, but we asked for it and it eventually came. If there is a large group of you, I would reconsider going there. The large table has an air conditioning vent above the table that dripped into my brothers meal (who is visiting from Ireland). I complained and the male manager said sorry it happens when we turn the aircon up. I thought they would have maybe pre warned us or told us not to sit at that seat. When I complained and asked for something to be done about this, maybe credit his meal back ..... He said no and said he could give us a cake or slice instead. We took 2 donuts that were nowhere near the value of the meal but it was better than nothing. This is a shame as the food was devine.

Popped in here for the first time this morning to grab two take away coffees. The coffee was nice but only three stars due to the wait time. It took 30 minutes from the time I joined the queue to receiving my coffees.

Always a nice place for coffee, a quick bite, and meeting with friends or family. Has the “Beehive” meeting room available to book. Really friendly staff, quick-to-moderate wait times, great menu variety. Easier access if you’re travelling North up Kamo Rd. Has dine in and takeaway options, with takeaway coffee also available. Love it!

They give you pork belly with the big breakfast.I've had BB across the country and never been given pork belly. There's something special about being given the very best at breakfast time and it made me feel lucky. The eggs were spot one, with a rich thick yolk. Bacon and sausages were delicious and the hash browns large and homemade. The caramel latte was pricey but great and I could have done with another slice of toast. But this is the best big breakfast in Northland by far, possibly second best I've ever had.Oh and the staff are all really photogenically beautiful. Like magazine standard beautiful.Made me feel a little shy and so I played it cool. But when the tall waitress beamed me a smile and asked how the meal was, I snorted coffee up my nose.Yeah, I was really cool.Definitely coming back to try the lunch menu and the pastries.

A nice cafe with generally good food and pleasant staff. However, it has always been expensive. Our last visit was a shock. An iced chocolate, a berry smoothie and two little tiramisu tarts served with a spoonful of whipped cream came to $41.60. We could have had a delicious lunch at many other places for a similar amount. The tarts consisted of rock hard pastry, a chewy ganache like centre and a blob of something creamy. The hospitality industry constantly informs us that times are tough. We do know that costs have risen dramatically but if your food is unaffordable we cannot remain as loyal customers. We had an excellent lunch in Whangarei last week - Garlic bread for two, Eggs Benedict with four strips of Omak bacon, large fries with a side of bacon, juice and a soft drink - $62.

Had breakfast here this morning. Arrived not too long after opening and there were already a few people enjoying their morning coffee so we could tell it was a popular place! They serve AllPress beans and the quality of the coffee was top notch.I had the eggs benedict with bacon. Eggs were poached perfectly.Overall I'd say it's well worth a visit, a little bit on the pricey side personally, but the coffee is excellent.
