Great for the ponies. Pool. Horses and dog racing. Huge bar. Every Friday Saturday night are live bands. It's fantastic. I don't understand why more people don't go for the live music experience. Great pub.

I would like to thank everyone I met at Mackenzies hotel. All I can say is they are friendly hospitable and the meals are amazingly yummy. Even the punters were welcoming. 5 stars from me

My husband and myself enjoyed a good night of watching the Canterbury rugby game last week and the meals are so affordable.Staff and patrons were very friendly and there was a great atmosphere.
