Pratts recently replaced my firebox and provided some of the best service I have ever had. They came and inspected the existing setup, recommended a replacement firebox and made sure I understood the requirements to meet compliance. They initially removed the old firebox and flu and sealed up the opening. This allowed me to alter the hearth prior to installation, done on a later visit. Everything was taken care of, including council code of compliance in a prompt and efficient timeframe. All of the staff I had dealings with at Pratts were helpful, friendly and efficient.

I recently had Pratts replace my hot water cylinder and could not be happier! They came and inspected everything on site first, recommended everything that needed to be sorted to handle mains water pressure, including upgrading the pump and installing a water tank outside etc. they really covered everything and the team were great on install. Explained everything as they went, made sure I understood everything, and gave me the best shower I've had in years!

Very professional and efficient. Once we had sorted my requirements everything was performed and completed on time and I am extremely happy with my fire. Big thank you to all involved.

Pratts recently undertook an substantial amount of remedial and replacement work for one of our local marae out the west coast in Taharoa, including addressing fire risks we had around an open fireplace and wood burning marshal heaters, reviewing and making recommendations around our aged infrastructure, arranging for the replacement of key chiller components, adding additional water capacity, resolving water flow problems including implementing an option for use during a power outage, repairing leaking toilets, running new water lines including for our maara kai etc etcDuring the whole exercise we found the technical guidance from the management to be invaluable, the work effort, friendliness and willingness of the onsite staff brilliant, making them extremely easy to work with and the easy going nature of the backend administration and support staff just capped things off making the whole experience very enjoyable and pain free :)Based on my experience I am more than happy to recommended the services of Pratts to others

We recently had the pleasure of working with Pratts Plumbing Otorohonga for a fireplace installation. Pratts truly went above and beyond to ensure a successful installation. Not only did they provide excellent service and deliver and install a great product, but their commitment to finding a solution when faced with an initial challenge has left us extremely happy.When we initially contacted the company, we called into the Cambridge branch and they patiently listened to our requirements and offered valuable advice based on their expertise. Their knowledge and understanding of fireplace brands and installations were evident from the very beginning, and it instilled a great deal of confidence in us to look no further and choose them to undertake the project. The best part was the fact they took care of the whole process from beginning to end including the council consent. We did have concerns about whether a fireplace could be installed in our home in the place we wanted due to roof space limitations and proximately to windows and doors. However, Tania from Otorohonga branch, was sent for an initial onsite assessment, and showed great patience and understanding taking measurements and even clambering through the ceiling cavity to take photos and check the ceiling space. She was not 100% it would work so offered to send out their experienced installers for another onsite assessment to determine more thoroughly. This proactive approach gave us confidence in their commitment to finding a solution.The installers from Otorohonga (Cory and team) arrived the next day and conducted a thorough assessment themselves. After careful consideration and measurements, they advised us they had found we would just mange to get a fireplace in the location we wanted. Their attention to detail and problem-solving skills were truly impressive. It was evident that they took pride in their work and were committed to delivering the best possible outcome for their customers.Throughout the council consent process we had the friendly Connie keeping us in the loop, and once consent was issued we were promptly called and booked in for the installation. The professionalism and efficiency of Cory and team doing the installation were evident. They worked diligently, demonstrating exceptional craftsmanship and precision. Every step of the installation was meticulously executed, and the end result was simply outstanding. All rubbish was taken away, our lounge was left spotless and they were an absolute pleasure to have working at our home for the day.From the initial contact to the final installation, Pratts, particularly the Otorohonga branch demonstrated a level of service that far exceeded our expectations. Their onsite assessment showcased their commitment to finding solutions, and the expertise and professionalism of their installers was truly commendable.
