Fantastic School, I recommend viewing the Oamaru Stone buildings with permission from the front office.

Back in 1948 it toughened you up,being caned,open to the air dormitories with shutters in the winter,brrrrr. Now at 81 I look back with great pride

this school is great and has a awesome foundation for learning. much better than my last primary school. downside is that i got in trouble and the teacher striked me. i cryed and the other boys laughed. cross country is soooooo cooool!!!!

Greetings Chaps.Your Local Dictator here!This is a school. A great school at that. While yes, it has had it's troubles such as the 31st of August brawl or the 2nd of June clash or it's long stream of vandals or it's Walk the Line scandal. I myself must give the school credit where it is due, for it is not their fault for what occurs due to the malfeasance of the students. The grounds of the school are quite the interest, showing both years of wear and ages of development in a single day. The creek in on its way to being restored and the Hall of Memories is just an amazing sight to see, outside and In. If you ever have the chance, have a tour around Waitaki Boys' High School. The smallest state school in New Zealand.I have to rate it...13 and a half Milners out of 15 Ians!Sincerely,Joseph V. Stalin.

pretty alright school, communication is lacking but over all the school supports young men as they grow, a strength in the school is how they look out for the wellbeing of the students.

Boys state high school built in the style of an English boarding school. Hall of Memories" war memorial hall on site is worth a visit."
