Touch of elegance

I got a voucher for a pedicure for my birthday. I had the pedicure done today and was an absolutely horrible experience. When cutting my cuticles it was really rushed an rough to cause every toe to bleed. I understand the odd bit but this was ridiculous. Absolutely no manners or customer service skills. The staff were yelling across the salon in another language. Every step in the process was rushed an so rough. This place should be closed down. No way to run a business. I wouldn’t even go for this place it was free.

This shop is very unorganized. I rebooted my appointment and called up to change and they had no record of my booking. Now they can't preform the service I wanted anyway. Definitely will be taking my business elsewhere

I've been getting acrylic nails and shellac done for many years in Auckland and have now been to this Ashburton salon 5 times in the past year.I am very fussy and particular (!) and the quality of the work at this salon, especially by Ti and Jessie, is absolutely superb!I'm sad that I'm returning back to Auckland and leaving my 'go to' place that makes me feel confident and gives me happiness!

Fantastic service very friendly will definitely be my go too for pedicures in the future

Touch of Elegance Hornby ( 30/01/2023 )Where do I even start?The Asian lady was very rude. By that, I mean she was raising her voice in front of my face whenever I tried to talk. She would raise her voice while I was in the middle of finishing my sentence. All I wanted to ask was if she could kindly redo something because she was rushing in the beginning and the shape of my nails were uneven. She then proceeds to reply with: “can’t you wait?” with a raised voice. She was clearly mad just by a simple request and although she did do the request, she did it in a matter where she was very rough. I couldn’t help but hold my breath as she was yanking my finger and working on it with unnecessary force. 2 of my fingers bled because of that. I had been a customer for them several times but never was the receiving end of this lady’s improper behavior. Usually I’d just see others being shown this same treatment. It’s only this one lady that I observed who is always like this every time I go there.

I don’t live in Ashburton but have family here so visit often. Today was the second time I’d popped into touch of elegance and was super happy with the result! Both times they’ve accommodated me with very short notice and my nails have turned out fantastic! Customer service is always friendly. Would definitely recommend

Went in for a manicure and pedicure, no nail polish and was told $80. Obviously not wanting the business. Won't be back.

The shop was untidy, the chairs old and in poor quality.My pedicure was painful, rushed, messy - I had to refile and repaint my own nails when I got home as they were in such poor condition, very disappointing - Hornby store.
