Had to put down my best pal ( baz cat)due to cancer and age this evening.The team where extremely helpful, compassionate and understanding.Thank you, your professionalism and compassion ment alot.

Such a terrifying weekend for us when our pup took a turn for the worse, we took him to WAHVH and from minute one they were so kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. 24hrs later he is back with us, with a diagnosis even though his case was incredibly perplexing, and our experience truly could not have been better given the circumstances.

Took my cat Winston in and found staff to be excellent. The vet nurse at reception was extremely professional and asked all about the cats history. Xanthe the vet was brilliant and ended up saving a huge bill by her timely intervention. Couldn't be happier with the service!

Very terrible. Threatened us with contacting SPCA when taking our injured cat home, declining surgery due to an unreasonable cost. Luckily we were able to get the surgery LESS THEN HALF the price. They wanted us to sign a form saying we were AGAINST them, just horrible service and no empathy staff.

Great service and all staff were very friendly and helpful, did have to go back next day due to a slight miss diagnosis but the stuff were more then happy to help my puppy, price is fair considering they are after hours and are super busy. Only downfall is the consult rooms were pretty dirty with blood on the ground and table and waiting chairs. But otherwise they were amazing

We headed down with our dog Charlie, after concerns that she had a fever, was sore and seemed to be lethargic and panting heavily. When we got there, you wouldn't of been able to tell that because a car ride and 'two new friends' was all Charlie needed to be excited and act more like her usual self. The ladies at the clinic were super lovely, really friendly and explained everything to us, and gave us suggestions for our next steps. They took great care of Charlie - checking over her body and noticing what was wrong. I was so pleased with the service we received there. It can be really stressful when your pet isn't feeling well, and you want to ensure the best of care. I definitely recommend this place if you want the best care for your pets!

We had to take our meow in after Acute kidney failure. Staff were so incredibly kind and understanding when we had to make the decision to put her down. Expensive, but it's a vet, ...get insurance, it saves the insult to the wallet.Their efforts and beautiful notes with our meows paw prints were so incredibly touching after such a hard decision.

End of life care for our elderly dog was the best from Waikato After Hours vets. Thanks for helping us through this challenging journey with such kindness and respect. The team at Waikato After Hours Veterinary Hospital are amazing people. They understand and are budget friendly with different payment options. Great advice. Prompt services such a xrays and blood work. The wait was not long at all, although night times they look busier. What a great bunch of hard working vets and staff. All in all this has been thee best care we've received from a clinic. And we have unfortunately been to a few. Thanks again from Ally and Hektor.
