Dave from Custom Cabinetry has made two separate pieces of furniture for me. Both are beautiful creations that look good and yet are still very practical. One was a set of custom made shelves for CDs and vinyl records, the other was an exquisite, apothecary-style cabinet/draws, specifically designed to hold CDs (there is a picture of them on the Custom Cabinetry website). Dave was excellent at every stage of the process, discussing design, materials, and finishing. Giving realistic quotes on time and cost. He kept me informed throughout the process and delivery and installing the cabinets (which are way too big for me to do on my own). I wouldn't hesitate for a second before using Dave's services again and would thoroughly recommend him to anyone who needs something special or individual created.

Dave made a number of items for our new house about 8 years ago - fitted TV and DVD table in the lounge nook, fitted china cabinet in the second lounge and a beautiful new table top for our old dining table. All the work was of the highest standard and all were made of Rimu and finished in satin finish that shows off the beautiful grain of the wood.We wholeheartedly recommend Custom Cabinetry Ltd. for bespoke woodwork.
