Great attitude from the friendly and personable team and possibly the best coffee up north that I've had. Highly recommend the Almond Orange muffin and Moca. The Mango sorbet wasn't bad either! Definitely worth a stop on the way to the beach.

Funky container selling good coffee, gelato and croissants. An outstanding addition to the Coopers Beach shops. Enjoyed the friendly banter with the staff. Just a short stroll down to the beach from here too. I hate to say it but they really should allow you to taste the different Gelato flavours and the 1 scoop is quite small.

This great little stop off is mint and so popular. Maybe small but they deliver. Hot coffee and food. Outdoor tables, lovely meeting place.

Give it a miss.Rude owner told my family and I it was ‘uncool’ that my wife was eating a sandwich (bought from a nearby bakery) whilst eating and drinking over $40 worth of food and coffee from their cafe. He said there were people waiting - so we were prematurely asked to move on and finish up to make way for people….drinking coffee.There are several other reviews that describe the same experience. Owner…people will buy coffees and muffins from you regardless of whether they have an opportunity to sit down at your bench (there is a beach nearby for gods sake). Experiences like this turn people away - and you need to reflect on it.Don’t be defensive (as I can see you have been in the past), and just take it on board:

The nicest coffee, very popular so be prepared to wait (normally about 5 minutes, not too long) but well worth waiting for. Consistently good coffee every time.

This is an excellent place for a lunch. Their cappuccino is the best of New Zealand. Very friendly staff.

This quintessential beach (cafe) bar became our essential coffee stop with our daily beach walk. Warm and welcoming staff presented our order efficiently and with a genuine sense of appreciation. Lots of food options were on offer as well.

Lovely atmosphere, quick walk to the beach if you prefer to sit and enjoy there. Coffee and chai latte were delicious, as was the ham and cheese bagel.Gelato is also a must!
