Savemart Northcote Auckland

Clothes are quite expensive for a second hand store. Also was supposed to buy 3 items that took me ages to choose, just to end up returning them as they don't have paywave. Also my fault for not having my card, but it would be good if they accepted paywave. FYI: CASH is not accepted too. Only EFTPOS/Card.

Somewhere I visit every now and then and find some goodies to take home, but you want to make sure you have the time and brain power as nothing is in size order and this place is huge, even size areas are really mixed up and a lot of what I love ends up being a size super small (I wish!).A lot of product across different sections which is great is you are looking for yourself, for dress up or for the whole family.Staff always seem to wish they were on another planet, a smile wouldn't go a miss.

Terrible customer service. They close the changing rooms about 15 minutes or more before the shop closes. Even when they have paying customers who are desperate to try on one piece of clothing. I have witnessed this one staff member being rude and uncooperative on more than one occasion.She obviously hates her job and cannot wait to get out of there.Such a shame because it could and should be so much more pleasurable to shop there if the staff were happier.

I feel like with the minimum wage well above $22ph, the team could surely crack you a smile and do a deep clean of the floor (or even just the changing room area) every now and again…Nevertheless, I do find some great finds here, and like any SaveMart, just gotta be smart about what’s a bargain and what’s a rip-off! Lots and lots of clothes to sift through. Would be so good if SaveMart invested more in procuring second hand costumes / crazy festival-wear.

Plenty of clothing to choose from at reasonable price. No problems with parking

Use to shop here often and was a great experience. Very friendly staff etc. came here today after not visiting for some time. Closes at 4, I came to find one pair of jeans, arrived at 3:45 as I new i would be quick, they had already locked the entrance so customers could no longer come in… I decided to go in through the exit as I was only going to be 5-10mins. Grabbed a pair of jeans and went to changing room. The rude women who worked there said no the changing rooms are closed even though there was still 10minutes to go and a cue of 6 people paying for their items. When I asked if I could please just try on one pair while the checkouts are busy, I got shut down and said no we are closing, and a filthy look.Will never go back here again!!!! What a horrible experience from the 2 staff working Saturday afternoon.

Savemarts clothes range is much like looking deep into ones eyes, by looking at these clothes you can see into the very heart, soul and essence of positivity that this place emits. Loads of good clean clothes and shoes to peruse. We did purchase a couple of unique outfits. Could spend hours here as it's well set out and roomy.
