Moved in 8 months ago. Very happy with everything. All the staff are so helpful and kind. We are pleased we made the decision to sell our house & join the village.

Our village, (Miriam Corban), recently enjoyed a mid-winter lunch here. The food was delicious, and plenty of it, as my waist will testify!! The village appeared to be large and spread out. The village management, staff and residents were most welcoming to us.

Very nice environment and the room/unit quality. I just wonder if I could afford staying there when I retire ?! Cry ~One star is deducted from the expensive monthly fee. This is fair as you get what you pay.

Maya, Krs and I dropped in to meet Kamla who recently moved in at this village. Wow, what an awesome home this was. And the setting and outdoors is amazing.

.. Well built and friendly community with plenty to keep a retired person occupied.However, its going to be BIG and in that many facilities may be full. Also, have to buy and install your own tumble dryer, no community washing lines ( can't have washing on your deck). And units are pricy and not aligned with how property prices are falling. Have to pay for a parking space, no garage. Weigh up the offer. Not as good as their advertising would have you believe.

Murray Halberg Retirement Village
Still under construction. The site is about half complete so visitor parking is at a premium. The parking issue is a complete miss hit by the Parent company Ryman. To allow this vistor parking issue to arise in a retirement village is just really bad planning. The Halberg Village has a cafe. A bowling green. A cinema and very pleasant and helpful staff. It must be a great place to live.
