If you are after cheap options and in a hurry this is the place to go. Servings are considerably generous compared other similar outlets. Pretty nice people as well.

Go Fish in Wellington is a true gem! Their fish and chips are simply outstanding. The fish is perfectly cooked, with a crispy and flavourful batter. The chips are heavenly—crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The variety of dipping sauces adds an extra layer of deliciousness. The service is friendly and attentive, and the cozy ambiance is the cherry on top. Highly recommend this exceptional dining experience!

Recommend the lunch special $6.90 fish, crabstick, potato fritter, chips. Best feed in Petone and best price I've found in Wellington.And great burgers too

This is our 'go to' fish n chip shop when heading to the beach for dinner. They are always polite, you don't have to wait too long and 9 times out of 10 their fish is lovely. Their burgers are well worth the price and very yummy.

My second time here now, I got the Nasi Goring again, it's really good. I'm going to try some other meals.The staff/owners are nice and friendly.Edited Jan 2023Came again and got the sweet and sour pork.. its the best I've ever had.Slightly crunchy on the outside and incredibly tender inside. I can't wait to get some more.I also tried the chillie chicken and vegetables and very nice.1st March 23I got some Nasi Goring and sweet & sour pork to take home and ate over an hour later... it wasn't as nice as it normally is. I can only assume it was because it wasn't eaten fresh... fresh is best.

It took 40mins to get my order taken. Because no one would serve me, I ended up phoning my order through even though we were 3 feet apart across the counter. When someone came in to wait at the counter for their order, I lined up to pay for my food, Once the person in front paid for their order the guys turned back to the fryer ignoring me. I finally got my order because there was no one left in the shop. I didn't do anything wrong . My order cost $23.00 and it wasn't the best, tough and dry. I believe I got ignored/profiled because I'm Maori. I won't be going back even though I'm a working local

Good fish and chips shop, arguably the best in this part of the city. Meals are not overly greasy, with generous portions. Proximity to Petone beach means you can enjoy the meal with a view. Recommended

Amazing!! Good tacker!Friendly staff and yummy fish burgers.It was the first experience for me that the actual dish is much better than photos.I took a fish burger, hushed potato and coke set (No.08).Look! So huge!Regrettably I could not eat all. So asked a staff to give me a container to bring back my burger. She gave me a container and a paper bag. Wonderful service!Many customers were waiting inside of the shop to take away.You probably have to wait in a queue.But it is a definite value to wait some min.!
