I bought a Midea Aurora heat pump including installation.The heat pump makes loud cracking noises every 5-60 seconds while the unit is running. This does not stop unless the unit is turned off.Midea sent a technician to assess, this technician believed the unit was at fault, but midea blamed his installation claiming that there were not enough screws on the bracket.From here, after months of attempting to arrange a time for a different technician to cone and reinstall the unit, they eventually do come to do this. This technician discovered that there was nothing wrong with the initial installation.So now i am left here, months later with a faulty unit that cannot be used while we are in the room due to cracking sounds.I have requested it be uninstalled and refunded, and will remove the review if they do this, or find another way to resolve the problem. So far this is $1800 down the drain.

The sales are very helpful and friendly. I been there on ANZCA day and their warehouse staffs was not working. The sales lady have done her sales job well and also helped me to up load the heavy washing machine to my van. Thx a lot.

I purchased a Midea oven in October 2021. I used it without issue until August 4 2022 when I found that it was not heating up when turned on. It was still under warranty so I contacted Midea. A service technician came to look at it on August 10. He said it needed a new part which he would order. He has tried to fix the oven three times now. Each time he says it needs a different part which takes over a week to get. The last time he came he said he would tell Midea I needed a new oven. When I rang Midea to follow up on this they said no, he will have one more go at fixing it with a different part. I was told the part had been dispatched and the job had been marked 'priority' so it should be a couple of days. When I hadn't heard anything almost a week later I called again and was told the part they had sent was the wrong part and they need to order a new one which would take one or two weeks. I said no, that is not acceptable. So they said they could take a part off an oven they have and that will take about a week. It has been well over a month since my oven stopped working and I am still without a working oven, something I use almost every day. A massive inconvenience and extremely frustrating.Edit: On September 19 I emailed the Store Manager asking for a refund. I got a very generic response apologising for my “unpleasant experience” and advising me that “our service team will keep track of the case and provide you with the latest information”. Not even a mention of the refund I had very clearly requested. On the 21st I was contacted by the service technician saying he had the part and was ready to have a fourth go at fixing it. He tried and was once again unable to fix it. He said he would install a new oven. I questioned Midea about what kind of warranty the new oven would come with. Surely if it was a new oven (and given the aggravation they have caused me) it would come with a two year warranty? No, they were only willing to offer an extra two months on my existing warranty as this represented the amount of time I was without an oven. Once again, having lost all confidence in their product and in their customer service, I requested a refund. All emails I sent to the store manager were now being responded to by an unnamed customer service person. They agreed to give me a refund which I have now received. Great. They also asked me to remove this review as the issue is now resolved. I have decided to leave it as a reminder to Midea that they need to do better and as a cautionary tale to others.

We have an insurance claim which requires us to replace the heat pump indoor unit. Because the model numbers of the heat pump we have and the one that they supplied is different, I asked them if they can check it for me. The result turns out I cannot use their indoor unit as it will cause errors due to the model number being slightly different. I asked them if I can have a written email to state this and also a quote for replacing the whole unit. The ppl who I talked to jumped into the conclusion that I wanted to do an insurance fraud. I am only doing what is required by my insurance provider and not sure how you can jump into that conclusion. Guess that person has 0 customer service experience and has delusional disorder - everyone is bad.Learn not to judge a book from the surface especially dealing with customers.=================================================To the person whoever replied to me:I talked to your wechat customer service and your employee has talked to your technician, advising that the the midea indoor unit that I have will not match with your product even if there is only one number different. It will bring the error code.I only asked your staff to send me a simply email stating this fact and request a quote to replace my unit. I am not sure what's wrong with my request as it is pretty standard for any other business. I've been dealing with so many businesses and only your company is very special, defensive, hostile and hypocricy.Instead of doing full investigation then making the call, you chose to blame everything on customer.Good customer services. Good manager.And to reply to your oringinal comment regarding comemnts on my insurance. I did not request that, pelase do not twist the story. and also you guys did not provide the quote to me at all.And based on your logic. Why I am here to complain if I got at the least the quote from you? Eating to much and have noting to do?

Horrible heat pump, loud cracking sounds unlike any other heat pump I have seen. They say this is normal, despite advertising low noise. Stay away.
