Blanchetts Fine Furniture

I can not remove my review but wishing I could.most of there upholstery work is outsourced and there for hardly done inhouse as real furniture makers would. sorry but they should be 100% honestsame as when you think you are buying Hardwood framed furniture 99% of there frames are 100% pine with Hardwood legs only this is also dishonest just buyer beware when you are spending big money on high ticket items. they should be 100% honest and not use fancy words and smoke and mirrors in selling methods...

Absolutely fantastic! Have just had a new chair made, Katie made fabric selection an absolute breeze as the selection was vast. Extra points for the European beech frame being made locally and the chair upholstered in-house. The workmanship is impeccable and I can see where every cent I have spent has gone. Ian and Katie's communication throughout was reassuring and I would thoroughly recommend talking to them if you're thinking about new furniture. In fact I am going to have a sofa reupholstered by them. Thanks again.

Blanchetts not only go the extra mile, but their product is made to a very high standard and made right here in New Zealand. I was guided to find the perfect piece of furniture that was what I was looking for in style and also comfort. I was able to choose from a wide range of fabrics and had the trusted advice I needed throughout the process, I was able to see my furniture as it was made in the factory and had it delivered and put in place. All in all I am very happy with the service I received and the product I know will last for a long time. I would highly recommend going to talk to Blanchetts when thinking about furniture, a great experience and I love my new chair.

My custom made box pleat sheers look amazing thanks to the advice I received from Judy Whitefield at Blanchetts. Judy understood the look I wanted and worked with me to ensure this is what I got, she also advised me on a fabric choice where I would retain my ocean view, whilst providing some protection for my furnishings from our harsh sun. I was very impressed by her knowledge of the products she sells. The workmanship on my sheers was second to none, I am a sewer and really appreciated the quality of this work. I would not hesitate to recommend Blanchetts for excellence in quality and friendly service.
