It is amusingly terrible. Don't be tempted to drink from the fountain because ... while it still may taste delightful ... you'll wake up with some hideous stomach infection.

I saw a pigeon drowning in the water. Only people who were born in Wellington like this slippery, not aesthetic, dangerous for the public sculpture. At least it's a free splash shower for people who are giving one star to the sculpture, when my first child will be born I'll give it five stars and call them Bucket in honour of the splash sculpture.

A Wellington institution - but it comes with a warning

Always a joy to see and watch it fill and flood the area. Great fun watching kids play and unsuspecting tourists get splashed. Happy to see it even got included in the wellington Christmas banners this year!

Honestly one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen, if you have one hour in wellington spend the whole hour here. I've traveled all over the globe and nothing comes close. It should be on your bucket list for sure ;)

If you like intermittent chaotic splashes, that's for you. At least it's different and bizarre, what you want in a small city landmark.

Could do with a bit of love, the rest of the suburb is vibrant again

Mermerising and colourful. This artwork is famous and definitely work a look. Grab a coffee from a nearby cafe and take a break. It won't change your life or give you any great answers but it'll give you time to think of the questions!

An interesting kinetic sculpture on Cuba Street that is fun to watch and a popular place for tourist photos and videos. The 11 or 12 buckets fill with water, starting at the top, the water then fills (then spills) from the buckets below.
