Recommend!! We visited this morning (9 of us in total) and after walking round and reading menus decided to pop in. All Breakfasts were lovely, well cooked and yum! Drinks were nice and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating with allergies/dietary that we had. Clean toilets! And There is a play area for the kiddies which was great for our little ones. Thanks heaps

Thank you to all the wonderful staff @Taste. You guys exceeded our expectations. We had our Dads 70th there and oh my goodness it was the best experience we have had at a restaurant. The food was on point. The atmosphere was amazing. The staff were unbelievably welcoming, professional and fun loving. If you want a great place to hold an event or just to eat out, Taste tops them all. We loved it so much we went back for breakfast in the morning and had another amazing experience. we had really amazing experience at taste cafe, large menu they offer all day menu in the morning as well, we order scotch fillet with steam veg at 9 am for breakfast they were happy to make, huge drinks menu, love their mimosa and bloody merry. our server jane what a lovely lady. definitely coming back

Great cafe with best coffee and delicious food. Went there twice during my stay in taupo, even after being busy the service was quick. Good for kids as well cuz they have play area with toys and colouring equipment . We`ll be back definitely.

The views here are absolutely gorgeous! Over looking the boardwalk on the lake with the mountains!Staff were very friendly, our food came out very quickly.There were a few vegetarian options on the menu. The veggie burger was good!

Horrible horrible food!Me and hubby went in for our anniversary dinner. The front staff were lovely and very helpful, made us feel welcomed and we thought it would be a great experience.The food was so disgusting and ripped off! My skinny piece of salmon and 2 fried eggs were $26. My hubby got a steak (cooked as requested) and a palm sized salad for $26. Not to mention the mushroom sauce" was actually "just add water" packet gravy.....We were so dissatisfied and disappointed with the food....Front staff were amazing though! 2 young ladies and a young man."
