I really enjoyed walking througg the bush track beside the reserve. I walked om the track on the other side of the creek from the reserve. How awesone walking beside with the creek in full view most of the way. A hidden treasure for me as I've lived in Auckland for 13 - 14 years after an earlier period if 10+ years. I had no idea the track was there regardless of the many times I've driven along roads on east & west sides & even walked the reserve once. Not well sign posted so go look for the entrance. It's so worth it.

Shhh, it's secret wonderful place that has everything except public toilets.Beautiful walk in the bush too
