My son was with another drum school but wasn't making as much progress as I had hoped. We switched to Paul and he has since flourished, enjoying his lessons and engaging well with Paul. We are now switching our other son over from his previous guitar school to Paul for the same reason. Can't recommend him enough.

My teenage daughter has been taking drum lessons with Paul for a year now and really enjoys learning from him. Paul is professional but friendly - I strongly recommend him as he is a great teacher who relates well to his students.

My son came to Paul as a complete beginner guitarist 2 years ago and he's been such a fantastic teacher for him. My son eagerly went off to lessons each week and always loved the 30 minutes spent playing and learning from Paul. I'd highly recommend Paul as a teacher, he has an awesome manner with young musicians and a real love for the music.

I have taken guitar lessons with Paul for the last year and a half. Paul is a considerate, thorough music teacher with an impressive reservoir of knowledge and a great knack for balancing relevant guitar theory with the more practical aspects of guitar playing. I progressed much faster with these lessons than I would have otherwise; I highly recommend him as a teacher.

I decided to learn drums as an adult and really enjoyed working with Paul, he has all the skills (and patience!) for a really great learning experience, I would recommend him to anyone for learning guitar or drums!

I had been playing drums for a few years but was self taught and found I was stagnating and losing interest in playing. I met Paul who convinced me to come along for a few lessons. I must admit I was a little nervous being that I was around 50 years old at the time. Paul is a great teacher, a wicked drummer and a very easy guy to communicate with. He broke a few of my bad habits that I wasn't aware were even bad habits, and taught me some cool stuff. I would highly recommend Paul for drum lessons to anyone.

I did guitar lessons with Paul for the last 4months, and it's been fab. Wanted to upskill and learned more of guitar and Paul has been fantastic. Paul is very skillful and talented, learned lots of new things and now can put lots into practice. Thanks for your time Paul, appreciate it ☺️

My son has learnt drums with Paul, and latterly with the tutors Paul has employed, for 3 1/2 years. Not wanting to practice doesn't make him the easiest kid to teach, but Paul and his team have always been extremely patient and supportive, always looking for ways to hook him in further, and celebrating the small wins and improvements. Thanks for the lollipops, and highly recommended to anyone who wants personalised music instruction and friendly professional service.

My daughter age 7 started taking drum lessons with Paul last year, he is just an awesome drummer and has inspired her to get better at sight reading.She has grown to love the instrument with his help over the last year. I would highly recommend taking lessons from Paul Barry if your a beginner or intermediate drummer.
