Tauranga Knitting Centre
I had the pleasure of visiting Annette's store this week. Its an absolute little gem of a knitting yarn shop. The patterns are well displayed and had I had time I would have had a field day. There are lots of interesting yarns to suit everyone's interest and budget. Annette offered to bring some yarn to where I was staying while I was visiting from Queensland. I don't believe I have ever met such a lovely store owner looking after her business and me her customer. Thankyou Annette.

Refused a refund on one ball of wool purchased very recently after buying thousands of dollars worth in the past. No good will there now. A check that the same lot number as the returned yarn is still in store would help in deciding whether or not to give a refund. A straight No refund" is very bad customer relations."

Ordered online and received promptly, beautiful wools, and even received a free needle set as the one I ordered was not available. Helpful and responsive service. Highly recommend.

It is a pleasure to give Tauranga Knitting Centre a 5 star review. Knowledge and supply are only two of the requirements of a successful business, it's when you add service that the business becomes special. I have had many successful visits to this store where I have had all my questions answered and creative ideas endorsed. I have asked for specialised patterns which have been found for me and matching wool discovered and delivered. As I travel from Waihi Beach it is important to me that I come away from Tauranga Knitting Centre knowing that I have all that I need for my next creative endeavour and that I have been treated with knowledge, interest and kindness. I always do. Thank you for being there.

What a wonderful store for people who love knitting. I specifically made a bee-line for this store on my first trip to Tauranga as I wanted to fill my suitcase with beautiful NZ Wool. I know I can get it online but there is nothing like being able to see and touch the actual product before buying. The store was very busy when I went then and I bought a lot of wool, so it did cause a queue at the checkout and I kept apologising. The staff were wonderful saying don't you worry, this is great for us too. We MUST support these physical stores or we won't have them.
