Kings Plant Barn St Lukes

Worst experience I’ve had at any store in Auckland. I bought $400 worth of plants and pots. During checkout I asked the cashier if I could return any of the items if they did not work out and she said that I could, no problem, within 14 days. Two of the pots I bought didn’t work in my space so I went to return them, upon which they told me that I can only receive store credit. They do NOT do refunds. When I spoke to the store manager, he very rudely told me that their return policy is on my receipt. How am I to know the return policy on the receipt BEFORE I purchase the item?! He then tells me that their return policy is posted on the wall. IT’S POSTED ON THE WALL AT THE EXIT! AFTER you purchase your items. I most certainly will not be back and I certainly will not recommend this store so ANYONE.

The atmosphere was good. Service was good and prompt. The downside for me was the cost of the cabinet food. Variety was good but the prices were a little high compared to other cafés.

When a friend and I arrived at the cafe at 2.15pm, the staff were already cleaning up for closing at 3pm, which we were told as we ordered.There appeared to be a good selection of food in the cabinets.However, we only wanted a bowl of coffee each. We had a pleasant chat on the comfortable outside furniture,Exactly at 3pm, a staff member came out and collected my friends empty bowl, and then just stood there rather unnervingly staring at me because I still had some coffee left.So I gulped the rest down, and within less than a minute, the doors were closed and locked.It rather took the edge off an otherwise pleasant experience and two stars off a five-star rating.

Best customer service here! So helpful. I'm a novice gardener and they helped me set up my little herb and lettuce garden. Buttercrunch lettuce was an awesome suggestion. So tasty and grows well!

Lots of variety, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff members. Plenty of good quality plants, flowers, garden ornaments, tools, and improvements. Parking spaces are quite plenty. However, they don't do refunds only replacement or store credits; of which they put on their membership card. So please choose your items very carefully.

I feel the prices are very high, including the cabinet food in the cafe. The staff are great, always friendly. The coffee is good and the cafe has a trampoline which is why I visit often, plus I'm a loyal Plant Barn customer. There's always parking in the large car park.

One more lovely visit to Mount Albert Kings Plant Barn. I enjoyed to be surprised with the plants that are not on the website and could be bought in store only. The only hard time I had was to picture where at home can I fit one more amazing plant. Lots of choices and reasonable prices. Very happy

The best best place to get your gardening stuff from plants to fertilisers and everything.Very well organised.Superb, suggestive, helpful and friendly staff.Easy to find your needs.Lots of parking also available.Closed shaded place so its nothing to worry about sun or rain so you can take your time to shop what you need.
