Walking with Alpacas (bookings essential)
Just returned from a fantastic time walking with alpaca’s.Our guide/owner was amazing and made the experience truly memorable.I would definitely recommend this experience.I was a little apprehensive about the walk but the trek was easy to moderate. Just a few short inclines on a track which winded up the hill to awesome views of the Kapiti coast.

Awesome time there and very friendly owner, had heaps of fun with the alpacas and the walk was easy to manage and the views amazing! Props to the owner putting the time and effort on looking after the animals and land well. Would recommend and do it again.

We loved our visit! Really well thought out walk with plenty of instructions and information so you can have a really enjoyable walk. Great for adults and our older kids. Even younger kids in the group did really well and had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

A memorable experience for sure! Rob was so kind and knowledgeable, and the rest of the group visiting were really friendly as well, which was great as I went up there alone. After a brief lesson about Alpacas, Rob went over some health and safety measures to ensure both the visitors and Alpacas are kept safe during the walk. The walk itself was really enjoyable, with lots of laughs and photo opportunities. Mid way through we were met with a stunning view looking out to the sea and over to the South Island. After looping back we also got to feed the Alpacas. 100% recommend. Can't wait to go back. Thanks, Rob!

We had such a fab time! Beautiful land, so gorgeously managed. Fun and extremely knowledgeable and friendly host. We loved being with the alpacas, they were wonderful, full of personality and just such a good laugh. Highly recommend for the whole family!!

had such a fun time at Cantharis Alpacas ! Rob was very welcoming and very knowledgeable. It’s so great to see that all alpacas are very well taken care of, with the most beautiful view as their home. Very much enjoyed the walking track and seeing all the alpacas. Thank you so much for having us, will definitely recommend to others :)

Adorable Alpacas and a great view, what more could you want?Such a great experience, the alpacas are very well cared for and each have their own little personalities. Very fun and relaxing. Super recommend for anyone visiting the area, or if you're a local and like animals. Has to be one of the best animal related things to do in the wellington area.Thought it would be more out of the way or harder to find than it is. But is pretty close to the main highway and instructions are clear.I think I'll have to return with more friends

This was one of the best activities we have chosen to do. The cost was definitely well worth the experience. Rob was a patient and friendly host. We are definitely doing this again.
