This is a very small room in an office block in chartwell with only one beauty therapist now. Although the therapist herself is nice, the facilities are pretty bad.... definitely not a luxury experience!

Great staff

I have visited this place 3 times hopping that the experience will get better. Unfortunately, you lost a customer. First visit was for pedicure which was done very poorly. My toe nails were not trimmed very well as the lady (~20y old) cut into my toe nail on the angle that she left sticking out without correcting it. During the foot massage one foot was left without treatment as she has forgotten. I had to remind her that she did not do the left foot yet. She apologised and completed the treatment. I believe we all have a bad day sometime hence, I came back to this place for the second time.The second treatment I had was the 60 minute massage for couples. My partner got a lady who was brilliant (apparently she left already what a shame!) and he thoroughly enjoyed the experience. However, I ended up with the same girl who was doing my pedicure during my first visit. With a little bit of hope we proceeded with the massage. I don't think this girl has enough experience as I have hardly felt anything and the moves she used I have never experienced before (uncoordinated, not flowing, not enough pressure. etc..) Basically what she did on one side of my back did not do the same on the other side. So I thought to myself OK she must be still in training and I should not give up on this place as the owner is very nice ( I felt sorry for her). I gave it another go.I booked myself for mani and pedi. Mani was gels. Again I was given the same girl (argh!!) Hopping she would be excellent with manicure I sat down and let her do her thing. Half way through I have noticed that every nail has different shape. I have asked her to correct it. During application of gel the layer was applied with different thicknesses where at that point I have asked her to re-do two nails as they looked very bad. You could see a clump of gel on the surface of the nail. And it was not a small clump! Upon closer look I have noticed some black specs and fibre stuck in 3 other nails. And the way gel was applied to every nail looked like my nails has grown already! You imagine in a week time I'd have to come back to get them re-done. I have expressed my concerns to her and asked her to remove all of it. Which she did but very badly. I had to visit another place to get it removed fully! We proceed with pedi. Me having a very little hope (at that stage) that she will fix the toe nail which she has trimmed badly two weeks ago. Not at all! She left it as it was! Again, the nail varnish was applied that it looked like my nails has grown already and needed to be re-done. The layer of the nail varnish was so thick that it did not dry for the next two hours! I had to remove it as we went for a bike ride that day and it would get stuck to my shoes. I have wasted two hours of my day and payed 55$ for something I did not get to enjoy and had to visit another place to fix the damage. This is unacceptable!I'm very sorry to write this review. But I don't wont the owner of this place noticing loss of customers and not knowing why. So here you are. The one girl you have left there will sink your business down unless you train her. If you change your staff please let me know and I'll definitely come back again as I very like your facilities and I know this place has a lot of potential. But until then I wont come back.Please take care.
