Nice views. We went late, so we only have the snacks available, but the cheese are so good. The staff is trully kind, and recommend wines.

This place was absolutely stunning! From the scenery, food, wine, and service and even the price of everything was awesome! This is such a gem this place! Even Oscar the dog was super cute! I would highly recommend this winery and I can't wait to come back!

Omata is a gorgeous vineyard near Russell. The quality of the wine pairs well with the beauty of the views. Highly recommend the Chicken Cranberry pizza!

Favourite Vineyard we’ve visited in NZ so far. The setting is really beautiful looking over the vines and the bay.Wines were great too, particularly the Pinot Gris for our taste.Edit: We went back for more wine and a pizza and it was also delicious.

Omata Estate Vineyard & KitchenOn a trip to the Bay of Islands we visited the ‘Omata Estate Vineyard & Kitchen’, Russell, Bay of Islands which is now firmly at the top of our list of the New Zealand Wineries we have had the pleasure to visit on trips from our home in England, to see our family.The wine tasting was great fun and most enjoyable and we decided on the Omata Estate 2022 Rose which was superb.The pizza’s were the best we have ever tasted, the gourmet platters were delicious and the service was excellent.The views over the vines with Russell in the background were stunning.If you are planning to visit the Bay of Islands, be sure to add this excellent venue to your itinerary – it is a fantastic place!
