I needed a chop on my mop and was in the area so checked the web for a barber and behold: the High Street Barber was the first place I found.Located on the main road from Arthur's Pass into Greymouth, this place is convenient and CHEAP. A welcoming attitude and skills; they're making it hard not to come back for my regular cut even if I live on the other side of the South Island.So if you're in the area and you are in need, swing by. They are well worth the price.Did I mention the fact that this place has been around since the 50's?

Had my hair cut by Murray, the previous owner, maybe 10 years previously. He has retired and the shop has changed hands. Three chairs, two in action. A long queue of people prepared to wait. Great haircut and good chats. Highly recommend.
