Very friendly staff but $5.50 for pies when there only 1 or 2 pieces of meat in the steak and cheese pie and the mince and cheese almost all gravy and both way too salty, was like eating the ocean and this is from someone who happily adds salt to most packaged food to be reheated I like my food well seasoned but this was way too much

Came across this spot and decided to have coffee and a snack here. Staff here obviously take great pride in their food preparation. The takeaway hash browns and cordon bleu were very nice, not fatty at all. Coffee is delicious, so was the hot chocolate. And don't get me started with the croissants, had two because it was so scrumptious. Unlike French croissants, they were crisp on the outside, less buttery and less sweet. What a nice surprise. Would definitely come again. Yes a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it.

Poor service - sorry to have interrupted your day when we called for drinks and food. Little available in the cabinet, & plenty of people around and in after us. You have a captive market, but please provide some customer choice and basic service.

Great little shop, with great coffee. The takeaway burgers were also really delicious and really good value for money! Very conveniently located next to the freedom camping spot and the beach. Highly recommend :)

EXCELLENT STORE where you can get EVERYTHING from a nicely priced ROSE', amazing coffee and a huge selection of highly sort after home made pies and pastries. And I managed to pick up this months English Country Home & Garden Magazine.

I'm posting 5 stars because their pies are delicious. Especially their Lamb and Rosemary, but also their Lamb Curry and the Mexican Nacho pie tasted just like nachos. Love goes into these pies Im sure. Yes, coffee is great too, and their shop is stocked full of items one would need if you were caught short. I love Whangapoua and will be back if I'm allowed...

Great pies. Home made with ample filling, 10/10 gravy and perfect pastry. What a find! Sausage rolls were damn fine too. Lamb curry pie was particularly good.
