Real Country

Real country farm was my first time handling or shooting a firearm. Laura, Lauren and Yvonne were fantastic. Laura was especially great with her instruction and training. We all had an incredible time. Will definitely come back the next time we’re in Queenstown, highly highly recommended. ❤️

A fantastic experience of life on a farm. Laura was incredibly enthusiastic and friendly, demonstrating her love for the farm and teaching others. The open space is great for fresh air and for mingling with the animals.Definitely would recommend for all ages to visit and enjoy!

Laura was extremely welcoming to our Contiki group this morning! She is very knowledgeable and takes extreme pride in what she does. Having us interact with her animals made today an all-round memorable and really enjoyable experience. Thank you Laura & Team!

Such a lovely day and experience for our toddler (14 months) son. He LOVED getting to meet, pet & feed the animals. We arrived a bit early because he didn’t nap as long as planned and Holly was super friendly & accommodating. The animals were lovely and it was amazing to interact with them face to face vs through a fence. We’ve been in New Zealand for almost 3 weeks and have enjoyed fabulous tramps, being in Doubtful Sound and beaches on the North Island... this honestly ranks with one of our best days here because we got to just slow down and love on these beautiful creatures. Thank you!!

Laura is an incredible host and really went out of her way to make sure our family had a wonderful experience on her farm. We didn’t have a booking and we were just passing by but our toddler wanted to see some sheep so we called the farm. Laura came right over and she gave us a tour of the farm and our son had a blast meeting and feeding all of the different animals. Laura is fantastic, very knowledgeable and personally runs everything. She is passionate and truly cares about what she does. Highly recommend you visit and make your bookings with her!!

Great experience at Real Country NZ. We were really lucky to get a last-minute slot and Laura was a really accommodating host.She's incredibly passionate about what she does and it was so fun to get up close with all the animals in the vicinity. We really had an amazing time.Highly recommended for everyone!!P.S. Sol was a really good boyyy sitting on the barrel!!

Absolutely loved the experience - Laura was very friendly and enthusiastic about what she does. Got to see her beautiful dog herding sheep, fed and touched deers (did not know their antlers are warm as they receive blood supply until now), fed and touched a horse, pony, more sheep’s and alpacas, and got to (unsuccessfully) crack a whip! Rest of my family managed to crack them though so maybe it’s just me haha. Total damage was NZD$40 per person.Thank you Laura! Will definitely recommend! All the animals were so friendly!!!Ps we called at the last minute around 1130am as we were passing through from Te Anau to Queenstown, they were only free after 130pm and they kindly suggested for us to head to Kingston instead of going up to Queenstown and back which was my initial plan. Communication was great and they let us know when they were done early so that we could head down earlier. Thanks guys!!

Booked this awesome experience for a group of 10 to do team building and what an awesome time we all had.Laura and Holly showed us how to crack a whip, archery, and some shooting. Introduced us to the animals.Great job ladies.

My girlfriend and I had a great time at Real Country. The experience with the animals was amazing. Laura was fun to work with, as she taught us archery, and allowed us to take pictures with the animals. During the animal experience, Hollie was great at telling us the stories about the animals, and allowing us to feed the animals. Such an awesome experience. I highly recommend.

I had the best farm experience here in New Zealand thanks to the owner, Laura, and her awesome guidance! She sheltered animals that most wouldn't have done and provided them with new homes. Thanks for such an amazing farm experience!
