ASB Riccarton Branch

I visited this branch on Saturday morning.The lady wearing glasses at help desk was very rude . The way she greets to the customer was very unprofessional. Worst experience.

Unhelpful unless you are their customers . You will not get new customers that way; potentially everyone who walks through your door could potentially be a new customer!Today I when Into Westfield Riccarton ASB and asked one of the senior staff lady from the front desk if she could kindly assist me in changing some $20 notes to $100, but simply refused advising I don't have an account with them so can't help!I did not expected it was such an issue with ASB?Luckily I've received help from other retail shop in the mall who was not even a Bank!"

Excellent service. Very friendly *human* staff who explain things well.The phone number does redirect to the national call centre, which is an unnecessary step. But I have not had to wait long and been called back within minutes by the Riccarton Branch to schedule an appointment.

My two cousins arrived from Fiji on a special visa category. I have been with them to various banks & branches but Riccarton branch ASB went the extra mile to create a new pathway for this visa category and made it happen. We were served by Brian and right from the start did everything right to customer satisfaction and went the extra mile to achieve which no one at other banks or branches showed initiative to do so. Very impressed with the service.

Lovely branch. My friend opened an account. We dealt with many different staff - all lovely. There is a nice diverse range of employees, each with their own special, helpful character. It was a good experience.

This review is about different experiences with different staff, one of our community member wrote to us and shared their experiences.He walked in to ASB Riccarton couple of times to verify an address for account opened online with ASB. When he walked it was so quite only customer was there in the whole bank and there were many staff.First time a lady (Age 35-45) approached him and said we're fully booked for today so you'll need to book an appointment to verify your address while there were 3 staff member stand at the cashier desk and gossiping.Second time a lady (Above 50) approached him and gave same response and at that time there was not a single client or customer in the bank but meanwhile a young proactive girl (20s) came and said yes I can probably help you out as I don't have any appointment at the moment.After the whole experience out community member shared some thought with us as below:it is really disappointing to say but Banking service here is even far behind then 3rd one countries""

Tried to open an account online ibhave never ever found a more un friendly website around password in my life afterx2 hours trying to getvi gavevin so now my 500k savings and banking are going elsewhere asb that website is a joke out of ten zero

The man that served me was lovely, but Dorothy the other teller needs to remember she's in a service industry. I spoke to the other customer, as bumped into her in the mall and she was just embarrassed by Dorothy's behavior.
