My baby boy passed away in December 2021 and having to walk through the doors of that funeral home was really not something my partner or myself thought we would ever have to do.Faye and Barry made this process so smooth and took all the worry away from us. Jackson was cremated and they mentioned putting him in a teddy bear instead of a urn to give us some comfort when needed, they organized the teddy bear and Faye took him home for the night to personally place him the back ❤️I appreciate everything they done to make this horrible time that much more easier on us.

Barry and the team at Sowman Funeral Directors kindly donated their time and materials to provide a '2022 Leavers' plaque for us. This plaque is placed at the base of a tree that is planted by our Year 13 students upon leaving school after completing five years secondary education. I just wanted to acknowledge the wonderful and compassionate help we received from Sowmans, and especially Terry, in the recent loss of my sister To loose someone is very hard and this was the first time for me that I had to make the decisions to put someone to rest. The help and guidance we received from Terry was amazing. Not once did I ever feel I was a bother to Him and I felt very humbled when Sowmans put together a plan that was affordable for us to manage. After the sudden death of our son Andrew three months ago, the staff and management of Sowmans provided us with exceptional service.Their attention to detail through all the procedures required has been delivered with care and compassion.The farewell to Andrew impressed all who attended and helped us to move forward with happy memories.
