Just want to say a massive thank you to our Tour Guide and Driver Damian. We had gone to the Hobbiton Tour. He was absolutely superb in every way, went above and beyond with our group especially to my husband and I who were here on our honeymoon and made the day very special. Gave us lots of useful information and tips about our stay here in New Zealand and made us want to revisit again ☺️

I would highly recommend Bush and Beach. We ended up doing the “Best of Both Worlds” tour after our original booking was unavailable due to the recent cyclone. Customer service and communication was excellent, and everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our tour guides, Allen and Milton, were friendly and well informed. We had a great time, and the scenery was beautiful.

Ben and his team went above and beyond for myself and my daughter when we booked into their hobbiton and Waitomo caves day tour. Alexander our tour guide was informative, fun and helpful throughout the day and it made visiting these areas a wonderful experience. Couldn't recommend these guys enough!

I recently went on the Hobbiton/Waitomo Caves tour with Bush and Beach and have nothing but good things to say about the tour company. Our tour guide was Michelle and she was absolutely wonderful. Not only is she incredibly interesting on a personal level (she used to have an ostrich farm!), but she is also very knowledgable about New Zealand's flora and fauna, as well as some Maori history. Additionally, she is a big LOTR fan, which of course makes her perfect for guiding a group to Hobbiton.From start to finish, everything went very smoothly. Everyone on my tour was staying at a different hotel, and yet we were all picked up on time and with no delays. Michelle drove safely and was very punctual. We were running ahead of schedule at one point and she was able to stop and show us another great beautiful New Zealand spot.At Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves you get site-specific tour guides (not employed by B&B), but since Michelle has done both tours multiple times she was able to give us some tips as to what to expect and what to ask our guides on these tours.I won't write a specific review on either stop, as it doesn't really concern the company, but I will say Hobbiton is totally worth it (even if you're not a mega mega fan) and Waitomo is...eh, well, it's a tourist attraction that feels like a tourist attraction. In hindsight, I would have preferred Hobbiton/Rotorua.Thank you, B&B!

Today , my family and I had THE MOST magical experience with the Bush and Beach Hobbiton Tour and Glow Worm Cave Experience. From start to finish , we were picked up in a great small van which allowed us to hear our driver Damian explain some very interesting information about the history of New Zealand along the way ! The tour itself was amazing ( not even a Hobbit fan) and really well done. Next the glow worm caves were great and again, our tour went flawlessly. If you are thinking of doing a tour like this- Bush and Beach is the way to go with their smaller vans, knowledgeable drivers and easy and professional company. Smoothly managed guided tour of natural highlights around Auckland. One-mile forest walk was instructive about native flora, especially the kauri tree and the kawakawa bush, and the history of logging the area. Beach stops showed off black sand and tidal changes.

Fantastic tour to Hobbiton with a great guide. I can’t remember his name but we went on a tour on Saturday and he was very knowledgeable on local history and kept everyone on time which is a hard job. Highly recommend this tour group!

Great tour guides and organized loved the bush walk and would highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of having Damien as our tour guide. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Damien made the journey to Hobbiton and the Waitamo caves a comfortable experience. We had a wonderful day exploring the film set of The Hobbit. What a magical place! The buffet lunch was beautifully presented and delicious. Our trip to the Waitamo caves was a fantastic cultural experience and wonder to explore. I would highly recommend this tour!

We did a tour to Hobbiton, with pickup / drop off from our hotel in the CBD. Our guide Damien was wonderful. He shared useful tips and information about Hobbiton and NZ in general. Provided very clear instructions for where to meet before and after the walk through Hobbiton. Bush and Beach was also very accommodating of my young child, providing a car seat for our infant. Would highly recommend this company for any of your NZ adventures!
