Stunning place. Easy walk around the lake either way. Only a few steps and we saw a few strollers hiking around. Beautiful native fauna including some massive trees. Water is clean and clear. Heard lots of frogs and heaps of native birds. 6.2kms in total. Take a picnic and your camera.

Great walk, lovely lake, quiet and calm. Beach was just for us to enjoy. Go on a sunny day. The only steep part is the track from the parking to the beginning of the track

Love this walk, short incline then relatively easy walk around the lake, about two thirds of the way around there is a lovely beach, great spot for lunch and a swim. Lovely mature native trees. Good morning or afternoon outing and not too physically demanding. Be careful on the road side at the car parking area, especially with young children, as many cars, going in both directions, speed past and don't slow down, making it seem dangerous.
