Delicious looking pastries and they were decent !Lost one star because they have no labels for any of the pastries when I was there. Luckily I know the ingredients and can guess what they are, but still I would love to know if that cinnamon bun like bread is ginger or Biscoff or what ? Maybe they forgot that morning or the pastries changes everyday so they don’t bother, but still highly recommend some sort of labels. It wastes your employee time to list them all out to customers , not efficient in that sense.

Latest addition to my Best in Auckland list!Staff are great, place has a really cool vibe.Food is fantastic: it looks great, and it tastes even better! Coffee is superb, too. All in all, 10/10.

I went to have my breakfast around 8.30am by seeing them open at 8am, nothing were there and the lady was standing there and doing nothing. I asked what time the shop opens, and she said technically 8

Hands down the best orange and date scone in Auckland. Maybe in NZ. I will never stop coming back for more nor will I try anything else (although I probably should). Coffee is incred too!!

This place is far away from any tourist spots. Their target audience is entirely locals. The food is just great and gets served beautifully! The place is full during weekends, so it is better to book a table in advance as there is probably no better place for branch in whole Auckland.

An attractive bakery cafe at Ponsonby road that you won’t miss if you are walking by. The portion is almost double the normal size. All the cake, bread are freshly made.

Oh dear what has happen to the consistent quality and cleanliness of our local L&F??? Flies over baking that should be covered or have the little battery operated fans. Wasps all over the Hot Cross buns which were on the edge of being stale and not quite right. Will not visit for a while and happy to write a new review when they get their act together.

Good filled donut. Cream was light and not too sweet and good raspberry filling. On the high end price wise at $8. The mushroom quiche had yummy pastry but contents were so-so and unevenly warmed. Was $14. Flat white was below average but passable. Fluffies have no marshmallows. The cakes looked amazing. Will return to try more cakes.

I buy at least three pastries to share with three friends every Saturday after a walk. Almost always nice. I went back at 3. 40pm today by chance and bought a sandwich. Fine. As I was leaving the shop was closing at 4pm and I noticed an amount of left over food. I asked a staff member what happened with the left overs.... I wanted to know if it was kept/ frozen/sold cheaper or given away. To my surprise the staff member told me they did none of that. She said it was all thrown away. I'm not sure if there was some kind of miscommunication or whether that was not correct but I couldn't feel good buying from here again. Such food waste seems awful.
