Every time I come in here I am disappointed by the lack of quality customer service and food. I used to be a regular customer months ago and I loved it! The food was always great and the customer service was top notch- notably by a bubbly young woman named Maia. Now, it is apparent that all the experienced employees have left and there is a bunch of trainees who don't know what they are doing. The franchisee clearly has an alarming turnover rate and should seriously improve his treatment of employees.

Literally the worst Subway I have ever had. Ordered 2 toasted subs from Subway Spitfire Square through Uber and when they arrived, not only was my sub not cut, both subs were cold and not toasted. The meatballs were cold, and so was the Three Pepper Chicken as if they hadn’t even been heated to go on the sub. So disgusting I couldn’t even finish the food. On top of that, the cookies were stale. The store owner has lost all his good employees and it’s very clear he has rookies working in there now who haven’t been trained properly. This is the second time something like this has happened when ordering from this store in the last couple months and we won’t be ordering from there again.

Not fresh salad ingredients, looked dull and going to the brown stage. The salad that was put on my sandwich was ridiculously small, got given just about 4 small strands of carrot as well as lettuce. One of the most average tasting subways I’ve ever had.

Worst Subway I've ever had. Had to ask for a refund. They were quite busy but I'm more than happy to wait and understand the wait. However, the sandwich was inedible, tried to take a few bites and everything just fell out of the sandwich. So over dull and the bread seemed old. Very tense atmosphere and the older man serving us messed up a few times with ours and others orders. If you like good, yummy sandwiches, go to the Papanui Rd subway. They make excellent sandwiches, fast no matter the amount if customers and always served with a smile.

Wonderful visit to subway, served by Louis and Zara. Wonderful service and greeted with a smile. I will definitely come here on another hot summer day. Brilliant prices and ambiance in the restaurant. I can’t wait to come here for another visit

Staff were friendly. A bit disorganized when the online orders came in. Food tasted good but would have preferred it if they had included the chicken fillet in the sub. I'll be watching them more closely next time.

When Erin asked if I wanted salt and pepper, I said I did. Then there was an accident where a whole lot of pepper came out onto the end of my sandwich. It was pretty thick. She asked if I wanted her to fix it, but I said no, because I like pepper. It was good. Thanks for the pepper, Erin.

Subway Spitfire Square Christchurch: I eat subway a lot and often get a wrap which seems to come differently every subway I go to. Tonight’s was easily the best I’ve ever had. Very neat & tidy, beautifully toasted and extremely well cut … nothing fell out at all which is phenomenal.The delicious food was complimented with wonderful service, polite and friendly, and catered without question to everyone who came in. The store was also beautifully tidy & there was every option available. The cookies were also perfectly stacked!I went back at the end to check her name because I wanted to thank her publically. Thank you Sophie! (Sadly I through out my receipt so couldn’t thank you through subway listens).

Good sandwich made by Barry, Sub had good structural integrity and no salad fell out. would highly recommend ordering the 3 pepper chicken from Barry 10/10.

I ordered online from the catering menu. (Two platters plus cookies.) It was an easy process and everything was ready at pick-up time. Staff were so nice too. Most importantly all the food was excellent! Big thanks to Subway Spitfire.
