Always a great feed, super friendly staff, awsome coffee and food. I have been here a lot when working in the area and will definitely be back and recommend.

Truffle Cafe
Found this place while looking for somewhere to have lunch during a jet lagged haze and was it mighty delicious. I ordered a fish stuffed quiche, an artichoke salad with edamame and potato clusters, and fresh brewed strawberry kiwi iced tea. I definitely recommend checking this cafe out if you get the chance.

Grabbed a cappa during a work break. Great coffee in a bright and lively coffee house on a wonderful sunny day. Coffee was generally standard but more than acceptable for the price. Will use the venue again when next in the area.

At first it was hard to spot the name of the cafe until you look hard at the glass... the location is not bad... We tried the almond croissant but it wasn't that good more like an almond cake smashed into the croissant which ruins the taste. Coffee is ok could be improved.

Nine of us booked for breakfast. On our arrival, although a few minutes early, the staff failed to acknowledge our presence. The food was over priced and the portions were small. Average at best. We won’t be returning and we wouldn’t recommend to others.

Vegan options on the menu. Really really good coffee in a cup I can get my not so fat finger through the handle. And a vegan chocolate caramel slice.Lots of staff so great service.I will be back on my next trip to Christchurch.

Disappointing. Went there 2/2/23 because of reviews. Tables were dirty. Very little choice of cabinet food. Scone was burnt and like rock. Couldn’t even cut. They took it back and brought another one. This wasn’t burnt or rock. They had several burnt ones in the cabinet. Good ones behind.Coffee was OK but not anything great. Overall very disappointing compared to reviews.

This was the most fantastic cafe, there were 20 of us at 8am, coffees and food came quickly, food and coffees great, prices good, it was a wonderful experience for our last day in the South Island, well done Truffles.
