Went there for an early dinner, only to be told the lamb had run out. Two of the four meals ordered came 15 minutes later than the first two. Table service lacked attention to detail. Food was nice once out, but service at the Palmerston North franchise needs improvement, and better training for server staff is suggested.

Went to Lone Star in Palmerston North on the night of Good Friday , 2023 really lovely meals , friendly , helpful staff . Really loved my meal and would come back again.

Went in for dinner and was greeted by two friendly faces. Our table server Bailey was awesome and it was really positive to see this kid working. Our meals were great!

Wednesday 31may. loved the service! Great meal's lamb was to die for! The mash with the pork belly was amazing! Easy parking. walked into a pleasant atmosphere friendly and inviting. Entree was quick and mains about 20 minutes later. We were always asked about our meals and whatever we wanted. Definitely go back to try another dish!

Food was good, cooked well, portions seem smaller from a year ago, when I last ate at the Lone Star and like everything else, prices have gone up, service was super fast, almost had a bottle of beer all over me, when the waitress brought my husband's beer to him! Fortunately, it landed on the floor and up the wall! All in all, it was a pleasant evening and quite entertaining. Would definitely go again.
