Great flight to Rakiura. The only difficulty was for older people getting in and out of such a small plane with nothing to grab hold of. Ask for a footstool - this helps enormously and should be provided without having to ask.

The best way to Stewart Island if the sea is rough. A short flight in a two engine plane.When you land you are taken by the airline vehicle to the village as the public cannot visit the air stripGood views from the plane and a great experienceIf there is no room on the plane they put on another. Very obliging.

Flight was fine and well run but why do they tell you to get there no later than 30mins before the flight because the check in desk closes but really the check in desk doesn't OPEN until 30mins before the flight?

Checked in my luggage only to realize I needed something from my bag. The pilot was really helpful in assisting me to get it. Also, my partner is quite tall, and the pilot put her in the seat with the most generous leg room. He also noticed I had a camera and put me in a good seat to take advantage of it. Really great customer service and skilled pilots!

Stewart Island Flights
We took the flight to Stewart Island instead of the ferry and we are so glad we did. It was a smooth flight quick and on time. Excellent service and transportation to Oban. I would highly recommend this as a scenic flight too, what a bonus. 8 passengers on a flight and plenty of room too
