This man has made my wife's life a misery by his uncaring & thoughtless attitudes & practice. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone, let alone turn him loose on my mouth.

I found Larry and his team professional, friendly, kind and empathetic. They responded promptly to an urgent situation, explained the process along the way in a friendly and calm manner,then provided a remedy and it was all surprisingly affordable. I was treated very well throughout my dental care at Dougherty Dental. He did the impossible for me, correcting my bite. A very clever Dentist that thinks of his patients care and future care for their teeth. I have had so many problems with my teeth from a very young age as I did not get all my adult teeth and had a very close bite with small teeth. For the first time my mouth feels rested and normal and I am not suffering pain and uncomfortable sleep because my mouth would not sit right. By far the best practice in the New Zealand. He follows best practice always. He always goes above and beyond always for every patient. His techniques and skills are alwayd above and beyond with the latest training techniques available internationally. He has amazing staff, helpful and professional.

The dentist at Dougherty dental has poor communication skills. He offered a procedure that actually damaged my teeth, he now says he warned me about it that it could damage my bite. I actually never thought a dentist would recommend something to you that would have a negative impact on your teeth. So I trusted him and now I'm stuck with a damaged bite. He was very rude to me when I complained of pain and speech impediment from what he did. He didn't listen to me at all he wouldn't let me get a word in. I actually had to complain to the New Zealand Dental association. I was shocked by his behaviour and still can't believe his attitude. I can't recommend this dentist. I don't feel he cares about the patient. I'm stuck with what he did to my teeth as it will cost thousands to repair.
