Exceptional service at Bivouac Dunedin. Spoke with Brian (or Bryan) over the phone and he had some sound advice for what I was wanting to do. Even was able to change my order at the last minute,, to something more suitable for my needs.The store is stocked with all the gears you'll need for your outdoor adventures. Easy to navigate and excellent in-store customer service.Will definitely be returning in the near future!

Always have a fantastic experience here. Staff are great and would rather get you into the right gear, rather than just trying to make a sale. Pricing can be a little steep (on some items) compared to other outdoor retailers but the service easily makes up for it.

I came in to try on boots of size 42 UK for bush work. The staff measured my feet and determined they were better suited to a 41 UK but were unusually wide (hence why I'd always been buying bigger sizes). They fitted some inner soles that support my feet better and narrow them slightly. I now have a correctly fitting, comfy pair of boots and the knowledge to guide future boot purchases. Cannot recommend the boot department staff enough. Thanks!

I couldn't rate this store highly enough, they have such great, knowledgeable and friendly staff to help you with anything you need. Bryan in particular from Bivouac Dunedin was so lovely to deal with. He spent about an hour each time I came into the store to help me find a hiking pack and to fit/size it perfectly to my body. You can tell that the staff are really passionate and know what they are talking about. If you need any help or advice I would highly recommend speaking with Bryan or anyone in the store! :)

Great store. Consistent and quite well assorted. Good staff. Friendly and very knowledgeable. Definitely a serious place to go to have a proper discussion or introduction to equipment. They also have a reasonable clearance department. My go to outdoors shop in Dunedin.
